This portal provides a link to the activities of the Nevada Aspen Working Group (NAWG), a cooperative effort of governmental agencies and non govermental organizations in Nevada. Working group members include resource managers from the Humboldt-Toyiabe National Forest, the Bureau of Land Management, the Nevada Department of Wildlife, the Nevada Chapter of Society of Range Management, the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, and the Great Basin Bird Observatory.
The Nevada Aspen Working group is also working cooperatively with the Aspen Delineation Project to provide information on the location and condition of aspen habitats in Nevada, research studies relating to aspen associated species, and management projects currently be undertaken in aspen habitats in Nevada.
